ĺMarry Fermont, from Fermont Fotografie, said a birth session is never complete without a picture of the first parent-baby bond.

“You can never predict what will happen in this moment,” Fermont told HuffPost UK Parents. “It’s one of the most pure moments in life.”

“When a baby is born, it’s like everything happens really fast, but also in slow motion,” Fermont said.

“Like time is standing still, but at the same time so much is happening.

“To be present at such an intimate moment feels like a privilege and you forget everything that happens around you.

“Sometimes I shed a tear myself, because you are part of this precious time.”

Fermont said what makes the atmosphere so special is the emotions felt in the room.
