A breathtaking video of a mother tenderly holding her premature baby for the first time is captivating Internet users everywhere.
The footage shows new mom, Jessica, cradling her 10-week-old son Hugo as she cries and whispers, “Hi, my baby, hi.”

The caption reads, “After being delivered by C-section, he was quickly whisked away to the NICU to be evaluated. Jessica was only briefly able to see him as she needed to recover as well. It wasn’t until almost 60 hours later that Jessica was finally able to hold her baby boy for the first time.”
Since the video was posted on the Facebook page Love What Matters on February 16, it has garnered over 7.3 million views.
The person who captured the tender moment on camera hopes it will show viewers that “love is the most important thing in anyone’s life.”
