Teacher gives birth to four babies in one year after falling pregnant twice

Jessica Pritchard has had a ‘whirlwind 12 months’ and now has five children under the age of eight with partner Harry Williams after having to go for the scan alone due to Covid restrictions.

A primary school teacher who was pregnant twice during lockdown has given birth to four babies… in less than a year.

Jessica Pritchard, 31, gave birth to her second daughter, Mia, in May 2020 and then welcomed triplets into the world in April, just 11 months later.

Jessica, who also has an eight-year-old daughter, Molly, said she and her partner Harry Williams, 34, were “speechless” when they found out they were expecting triplets.

But she said the couple feel “very lucky and blessed” with their new additions, even though that means they now have five children under the age of eight.

She said: “It’s been a bit of a whirlwind 12 months, we had a baby in lockdown and then three more.

“Meal times are fun because everyone needs to eat at the same time.

“In addition to the fact that it takes longer to feed, you also have to change three diapers instead of one.

“I just need to be more organized, but I’m already a pretty organized person.”

Jessica was still on maternity leave after Mia’s birth when she found out she was pregnant again in October 2020.

Due to Covid restrictions, Jessica had to have the scan done on her own.

She said: “The sonographer initially said she was having twins, which was a shock in itself, but then she kept looking and said she had found a third.
